They can be made from paper, plastic, cloth, metal foil or foam and they can have rubber, acrylic, synthetic rubber, conductive or silicone adhesives.Most of these tapes can be used for a wide range of applications but some are application specific.  Click here for Product Specs | Many people confuse these with double-coated tapes but they are different. These products are a layer of pure adhesive on a roll, similar to rubber cement. Some people call them goo tape. They are available in a wide range of formulas and thickness to work with any material. Regular grade is good for most common applications including light papers and plastics. Heavy duty types are good for permanent bonding of textured and coated papers, metals and heavy plastics. ATG tapes are a type of transfer adhesive that requires a special dispenser for proper application. |
