Electrical and Thermal Insulating Tapes

 

Vinyl Electrical Tape  

Vinyl Electrical Tapes --  This is what most people think of when they think of electrical tape.  Soft, stretchy vinyl conforms to the connection forming a safe, secure insulating wrap. This material comes in a wide range of grades, sizes and colors for any apllication ranging from general purpose to automotive to aerospace.

These tapes can also be used for cable marking, jar and can sealing, decoration and more.

 

     
Polyester Electrical Tapes   

Polyester (Mylar®) Electrical Tapes -- Electrical tapes made from polyester are thin and conformable making them the perfect choice for wrapping coils, capacitors and potentiometers.  They also have excellent abrasion resistance making them an excellent choice for dissimilar metals seperation.

Available with silicone, acrylic or thermosetting rubber adhesives. 

     
Fiberglass Cloth Tape  

Fiberglass Cloth Electrical Tapes --  Woven from fiberglass cloth these tapes offer excellent temperature resistance, conformability, chemical and solvent resistance.  It can be printed for FAR Compliance. Perfect for wiring harnesses, coil armor wrap and high temperature non-electrical applications

Available with rubber, silicone and thermosetting ruber adhesives

     
 Polyimide and Kapton Tapes  

Polyimide (Kapton©) Electrical  Tapes -- Superior temperature and electrical resistance make this the perfect material for a wide range of applications including powder coat masking, wave solder/hot air leveling, thin metals spray masking, solar panel insulation and much more.  This tape exhibits superior tear and abrasion resistance at elevated temperatures.

Available in 0.001", 0.002" and 0.005" thick with silicone (standard) or acrylic adhesives.  Double-coated is available as well.

     
 Self-fusing silicone tape    Self-fusing silicone rubber tape -- Stretchy, non-adhesive rubber tape that bonds to itself. The perfect tape for the toolkit.  Use it to cover splices, wrap harnesses, fix small leaks in hoses and more.  No adhesive means it removes cleanly when you slice it off.
